DELCO FOLKS ARE KNOWN FOR BEING LOUD.

IT’S TIME TO GET very LOUD.

Our political power makes a difference nationally and locally, but we can all do more.

The attacks on our communities are immense, but they didn’t just recently start…

…and anyone who tells you a single election will fix all the problems we’re experiencing is being untruthful.

We are going to have to oust the Republicans who are doing direct and purposeful harm, and we are also going to have to fight to ensure Democrats are being brave.

We are going to have to vote and organize and community build at the same time.

We can and we will.

Our neighbors are being kidnapped and killed by our own government with our own tax dollars.

We are seeing concentration camps being assembled in our communities, and around the world, weapons made here are killing innocent people. Right here in Delco, militarized policing and corrupt investigations have left all of us in danger. All of this violence is connected and it must stop.

Our oppression is top-down, not left-right.

Economic oppression affects all of us. It affects public health outcomes, educational success, the ability to start or care for one’s family, and yes, public safety. Investment directly into communities is key to our collective liberation.

The fundamental right to democracy is under attack because we fail to aim our organizing upward.

Our leaders are afraid to have real conversations because they feel uncomfortable or scary.

Accountability for one party is not really accountability. It Is political theatre.

Real accountability means a high standard for public service based on outcomes and values. Simply winning an election for the blue team is not good enough.

We cannot go back to the times "before Trump".

We must radically imagine the solutions to problems that have harmed us all for too long. Delco has already been doing this, and we must keep going. We do not get this work done by depending on beltway political strategy. We the people must actually talk to one another.
