Delaware County, Pennsylvania is a region rich in cultural influence, artistry, and community, but political institutions and public investment have failed to meet the moment or the need of our people.

The Delco Accent is going to be a digital and community organizing space that works to amplify, build, and direct our collective political power toward policy reforms that will invest toward us all.

We know that all of us, especially those of us who are most vulnerable, need to organize and resist past the current fascism we’re experiencing. We also know that the reality before this current crisis was leaving too many behind. We’re aspiring for something greater, and no, we aren’t sorry about it.

We’re from Delco. We have a hoagie-mouth accent, we eat Wawa over the trash can, and we fight for our neighbors. It’s just what we do.
